Cinemasounds Creeps Out Legion Trailer

As if images of little old ladies morphing into evil demons isn’t scary enough, 5 Alarm’s very own Cinemasounds Music Library helps set the menacing tone for the Legion movie trailer.  This feature film tackles the heavy topic of the apocalypse brought on by God’s disapproval of mankind.  Michael The Archangel and select diner patrons are humanity’s last hope for survival.  Do we have soundtracks for the annihilation of all humanity?  Why yes we do!  Call To The Storm by Gabe Shadid is one of many explosive edge-of-your-seat scores from Cinemasounds, so be sure to check it out!

5 Alarm Ignites The Golden Globe Awards

Live action and music go together like peas and carrots.  Think of how many movie scenes are known by their soundtrack.  I don’t know about you, but I can’t hear Tom Petty’s American Girl without envisioning that poor Catherine Martin singing along just before her impending doom in The Silence Of The Lambs.

With that being said, 5 Alarm Music is proud to have seen so many television shows and feature films that licensed our music in 2009 nominated and winning Golden Globe Awards.  We would like to congratulate all of the winners and nominees for their stellar performances and productions.  Here’s a list of nominees and winners that had 5 Alarm Music as a part of their soundtrack:

Triumph is often born through struggle and extremes often reside in the same zip code.  This week’s new releases show all sides of urban living with songs depicting everything from living large to the harsh reality of gang life.  BOM011 Your Favorite MC is a fun loving mix of bumping beats and party themed rhymes.  It was a good day in the neighborhood!  BOM012 GangStars is a harder view of life in the streets.  Crime, dominance and overcoming obstacles is the only way to survive.  The sweet ain’t so sweet without the bitter, so all that’s left to do is tell the tale!
