Summer, Approximately: New Releases – 4/23/10

The word “Summer” evokes a sense of release.  It’s a time for vacation, a time for leisure, a time for responsibilities melting away like ice cream dripping down the side of a cone.  This weeks new releases from the Abaco Music Library come right in time for the debut of Summer 2010!  AB186 Lifestyle Smile feels like the soft breeze flowing through your hair as you ride through the countryside on a sunny afternoon.  These light and airy cues carry you off into a slower, more relaxed state of mind.   Once you arrive at your destination, it’s time to let loose a little with AB187 Daytime Heaven.  These motivating tracks remind us that all is right in the world and it’s time to enjoy it.  School’s out for Summer!  AB188 Pop Punk hearkens back to a time when the days were wide open for youthful adventure and rebellious ennui.  Ah, the sounds of unleashed energy/confusion/cockiness of our youth!  So grab your beach towel and don’t forget the sunscreen, Summer is almost here!
