I don’t know about you, but I am a huge horror movie fan.  There’s something inherently awesome about creepy ghouls terrorizing teenage kids late at night when they are up to no good.  And their decision to follow eerie sounds outside directly in the blades of the killer is even better!  If I heard a screeching sound outside, I’d make sure all the doors were locked.  This is precisely why I would make a bad horror movie character.

OK, here’s the storyline – Tourists on a tropical island enrage the native god of the island who in turn morphs into a giant alligator to devour them.  Sounds pretty awesome to me!  OTP602 The Great Alligator is the original soundtrack to the 1979 not-so-classic Italian film “Il Fiume del Grande Caimano” and features the analog synthesizer in all of its glory.  All I have to say is, “Dear Octopus Records: Please send me this movie poster if you have one.  This movie rules!”

A reporter uncovers an airline’s plot to crash Concorde flights and is on a mission to kick some ass and save the day.  This storyline is perfect: Criminals + Evil Plot + Hero + Kicking Ass + Cool 70’s Soundtrack = AWESOME!  OTP601 Concorde Affaire ’79 is laced with suspenseful analog synth goodness and disco crime themes that hearken back to the time of bell bottoms, butterfly collars and feathered hair styles.  This movie seems like a must-see too.  Netfilx?
