Football fans are a rare breed. They wear more face paint than Gene Simmons, eat super fire hot wings until tears roll down their inflamed cheeks and some even swig enough beer that their guts resemble a 3rd trimester swelling belly by the Super Bowl. This comes as no surprise, football is not a game for the faint-of-heart. If you take the strategic element out of the equation, sheer brute force is necessary to achieve victory. When watching football, I often find myself thinking, “Ooooohhhhh, that’s gotta hurt!” Especially when you see the bone crushing replay in slow motion. That’s some serious ouch, the couch is a much better alternative thank you very much!
This week’s new releases from the Source In Sync, Made Up Music, JW Brilliant Series and Poke music libraries are tougher than Green Bay’s defensive line. Perfect for the brutal highlight reel…..
These tracks bring the pain! SIS049 Hard Rock Vol.1 feels like a bar stool upside the head from a nasty barroom brawl. Don’t forget the brass knuckles!
SIS049 Hard Rock Vol.1
If Math Rock decided to cut class and go to the gym to hang with Jock Rock, MUM114 Contemporary Rock Songs would be the end result. This intelligent collection of emotive get aggressive progressive rock with edgy male vocals rivals the best stuff out there today. Who said jocks were dumb?
MUM114 Contemporary Rock Songs
This is one mean mo-fo. The aptly titled JWBM028 Bedrock features rock-hard sludgy electric guitars tuned as low as you can go. This CD isn’t afraid to take a hit and get a little dirty!
POKE007 Big Noise features adrenaline-laced punk and hard rock to break bones to. Or go off-roading to. Or jump out of planes to……without a parachute. If this CD were a truck, it would have huge tires and permanent mud splatter up the sides. What’s a few broken bones? At least they heal. Grab life by the….uh…you know whats.

Library of the Week: Cavendish Trailers
Cavendish Trailers‘ recipe for success goes something like this – Start with immense and powerful orchestras, add pounding and urgent percussion, throw in a healthy amount of operatic choirs, combine one part tension, two parts action with a dash of mystery and suspense. Stir thoroughly, light on fire and voila! You have the best trailer music around! For edge-of-your-seat intensity, these tracks are real blockbusters.
